Brenda Cochrane, sometimes known as The Voice, is widely regarded as one of Scotland’s greatest hidden talents. She is still remembered by many in the UK as the young woman who won the TV talent show Opportunity Knocks back in 1989 with the largest ever recorded vote.

Since then she has performed on stages all over the world a well as making numerous TV appeareances. With her own distinctive style and presence and engaging personality she has become a world class performer.

On this album you will find many of the traditional and celtic songs she remembers from her childhood that she has always wanted to record.
